RULES FOR OUR KENNEL:
NO. 1 - Bring your Dog's normal Food
No. 2 - Bring CURRENT Immunization Record - unless it is on file here already!
When you are away we treat your dog like our baby!! We take the best care around for any price!! But our prices are very reasonable!!! Our kennels are some of the newest, nicest, safest and the most caring kennels around!! We have lots of return customers and referrals!!
I used to board my dogs (I have a lot!!) when I went out of town, tried pet-sitting too!! Neither one worked for me!! Boarding cost me $1000 or more every time and they wouldn't ever let me pick my dogs up after 5 or at all on Sunday!! Then my dogs came home beat-up, with kennel cough (even after current immunization) once one even came home PREGNANT!! The pet sitting ended up with a huge mess for me to clean up, I worried about someone I didn't know hanging out in my home and several family pets were let loose or eaten. One time our male chihuahua was at a neighbor's house 3 days and the pet-sitter either didn't notice or was afraid to tell me. ANYWAY, that is why I have a kennel and why I have reasonable rates. The only catch is that it is only us... It is here at our house and when we are gone to picj up the kids from school you can't bring or pick up your dog(s). There have been very few times that I couldn't work out the time someone wanted to come - just PLEASE book an appointment before you make a trip out!!
We have 15 large indoor/outdoor runs! Trust your dog to be in the best care in a clean safe environment! Let me spoil your fur-babies while you go on vacation! I will give you email and several phone numbers to keep in touch while you travel!
While your pets are staying here I can bathe them if you book it ahead of time and pick them up at Noon or later in the day - Just $15 per pet with a stay or if you live nearby and just want me to bathe your pet and do nails/ears, etc - I charge $20 without a kennel stay. Grooming can be arranged as well - I can take them elsewhere - perhaps near your home and you can pick them up there...
For an additional charge, I will pick-up or drop off your pets! Our immediate area is Princeton, Farmersville, McKinney, Plano, Allen, Lucas, Wylie, North Dallas, RIchardson, etc. What a great value if you are in a hurry!!
My husband, kids and I love all dogs - we've been breeders of Scottish Teriers for over 12 years.
We are blessed to live on a lovely 28 acre farm overlooking Lake Lavon, 12 miles from Central Expressway and Bethany in Allen All 15 runs are over 50 square feet with concrete walls 4 feet high to protect your pet from a dog in the next run over...
Or perhaps - protect that dog from your dog... LOL!!
Please bring your pet's food from home, a change in diet at an already stressful time is not a good idea!! . However, if you forget, we will feed them at a minimal charge: FOOD -
Under 50 lbs - I charge $1 per day per dog.
$2 per dog/day for over 50 lbs
Of course all immunizations must be current... Please go by your Vet prior to your stay and get a copy of their shot record. If you are unable to do that, I can call your vet for you and ask them to please fax them to us. I do not mind nor charge for this service!!
Dog on Medication?? NO PROBLEM!!! We do not charge for giving pets medicine!! Current tricks are hiding pills in peanut butter or cat food.... However the best thing would be if you bring pill pockets with you, I haven't met a dog yet that won't eat those yummy things!! I do not charge for this!
Does your dog need private play or group play? We've been providing either at NO EXTRA CHARGE since we opened our doors!!
We accept Cash, Checks and if you use Paypal, we can take credit cards that way I would REALLY appreciate it if you would add a 5% service charge to cover the fees Paypal imposes! Please let me know if you want to send by Paypal and I will send you an invoice, all you need is an email address, you no longer have to have a Paypal account to send money!!

Pick-up or delivery is available for $10 for the Princeton Area, $15 for Plano, Allen, Farmersville & McKinnney. This is one or the other - Pick up or delivery - a round trip before and after their kennel stay would then be $20 for Princeton, etc..
Still the most reasonable in the area and when you see the superior facility and the excellent care, it is impossible to beat!!
Perhaps you've heard someone opened a "Kennel" nearby!! Don't be fooled! Here each pen is 60 SF ( ALL 15) which is almost as big as their whole kennel!!!! At Green Acres, you don't have to call and work out the "details" ... Additional dogs (yours or your Mom's or neighbor's) in the same run are always half price - always have been here at Green Acres!! We have 3 Mastiffs each around 150 lbs that COMFORTABLY stay together regularly in one of our runs! We are not trying to make a lot of money, just make enough to justify having the kennel for our dogs! We spared no expense in building our kennels, if there is a tornado, our concrete building (top to bottom) will not be blowing away!!!
